Vintage Early-Mid 1960’s Levi’s 646 Bells Jeans
Description: In our 1960’s civil rights and counterculture collection are these authentic 1960’s Levi’s 501 and 646 jeans that we picked up at the Durango Vintage Festivus. Formerly in the collection of @junkyardjeans, these jeans once belonged to a traveling photographer and bare all the mends and restorations of the “Kerouac” lifestyle we had been looking for. Trust us, it’s harder than it looks. We spent quite sometime searching for an authentic pair of 1960’s 501’s that perfectly encompassed and represented the counterculture lifestyle—without them reading like a hokey post production cornball nonsense “idea of.” Basically, what we see echoed in our extrapolation of hippie fashions to this day.
We extend our most humbled gratitude to Brit Eaton @originalindianajeans for his dedication and love of vintage and the vintage community. We would also like to thank Brit and all those who had a hand in the entire organization and production of the Festivus.
